The thing our guests say most often is how much there is to do without leaving the Bryn Tanat grounds and this applies to both indoors and outdoors. The hard surface outdoor games court is a fairly new addition and can be set up for tennis, basketball or football.
All around the house you will find extensive lawns and parkland and whether you want to wander off with your clubs and have some pitching practice or take on a more sedate game of boules, there is space to enjoy both.
Croquet is another favourite, if the name conjures up pictures of Edwardian ladies tapping gently on their mallets, think again! Once you get hitting those very hard balls with the heavy mallets, there can be some serious challenges going on!
Do you want to get your whole group out and active? How about a treasure hunt?
We will set you off with clues that will take you all over the gardens and grounds of Bryn Tanat Hall. Our artist’s map will help you find hidden corners and eventually lead you to the treasure and along the way you may discover some surprises. Take care who’s following you though, you don’t want to give away any secrets! Then back to the house for a well earned cuppa.
On a more relaxed note, a stroll round the gardens is lovely at any time of the year.
