Meet Beth
Our in-house chef, Beth, brings warmth, skill, and years of experience to every dish she prepares at Bryn Tanat Hall. Trained at Radbrook Catering College, Beth began her career in hotel and restaurant kitchens before launching her own catering business in the early 2000s. Her exceptional talent for baking led her to focus on celebration and wedding cakes — earning her the Best Wedding Cakes in Mid Wales award in both 2022 and 2023.
Since joining the Bryn Tanat team in 2014, Beth has become a guest favourite — not just for her beautifully presented dinners, but for her ability to make every meal feel like a special occasion. From elegant three-course dinners to informal afternoon teas, Beth’s menus are thoughtfully created and full of flavour.
You can also commission one of her award-winning cakes to mark a birthday, anniversary, or special event during your stay.

Alongside Beth is a skilled team of passionate chefs and experienced front-of-house staff, all dedicated to delivering a relaxed and memorable dining experience. With professional backgrounds in both kitchen and service, our team brings restaurant-quality food and hospitality to your stay.
For guests staying in Bryn Tanat Hall, we offer a full private dining experience. When you book a dinner with us, everything is taken care of — we arrive ahead of time to prepare the food, provide full table service just as you’d expect in a fine dining restaurant, and we even do the washing up, leaving the kitchen exactly as we found it. The Hall’s versatile kitchen, equipped for both self-catering and semi-commercial use, makes this seamless and stress-free.
For guests staying in our lodges or Cabin, we offer a selection of pre-prepared meals from our menus, designed to be enjoyed at your leisure. It’s the perfect way to experience Beth’s delicious cooking without the need to prepare anything from scratch — all you have to do is just add the heat!

Final menus will be discussed directly with guests at the time of enquiry and may be adapted based on guest numbers and seasonal availability of ingredients. Menus can be adapted for dietary requirements, and we’re happy to guide you on the best fit for your group and occasion.
