If you go down to the woods today, you’re sure of a big surprise! All you need is a Gun, some teammates and Bryn Tanat Hall woodland to pay in. From the briefing your first practice game is played using a simple game scenario – unlimited lives, 1500 shots per game. Easy.

Subsequent games require more planning and team engagement. The games get tougher with fewer lives and the chance of being eliminated from the game.

Planning and strategy are a must for this exciting combat game. Oh, and we forgot to mention Firing Range of up to 120 Metres – Great Fun !!!!!

Precision and accuracy are the name of the game in our Laser Clay Shoot Out. Keep your nerves steady as you coolly assess the target clays as they soar through the air, firing at just the right moment.

Using our state-of-the-art, laser-adapted rifles, compete to see who has just what it takes. There’s no recoil, but you’ll still need a steady eye…

Your fellow shooters will be firing alongside you at the same time. That’s something you can’t do on a traditional clay shoot! The scoreboard will tell us who was bang on, and who was off beam.

There’s more than one way to shoot a clay! You’ll be firing at targets launched from different angles, just like on a classic clay shoot.

Whether you’re an archery novice or a bow-and-arrow pro, our Target Archery brings out the competitive side in everyone who enters. It’s a deceptively simple challenge – hit the target, aim for the bullseye and rack up as many points as you can.

Can you hold your nerve and keep a steady hand? Or will the pressure of the competition make you crumble? It’s fun and friendly, with challenges and games for you and your family.

There is a real art to den building, and this is your chance to learn from our Groundsman, Rhys Lewis. Rhys will let you in on a few of his secrets as you work together to build an impressive structure using only the woodlands natural resources.

You’ll then forage for leaves, twigs, fir cones, feathers … anything you can find to decorate your structure and transform it into a spectacular woodland hide. A great excuse to spend some family time in the woodland at Bryn Tanat Hall.

The session takes place outside, guests should bring adequate clothing for the weather on the day.

Our woodland is home to all kinds of wildlife, big and small. On this outdoor adventure, you and your little ones can explore the world of the minute beasts and insects which live hidden away in the logs and bark.

Our Groundsmen, Rhys, will offer some fascinating insights as you use magnifying glasses and microscopes to zoom in on this exciting little world of wildlife.
