Room One

Double Bedroom – Sleeps 2

Shared bathroom

Bedroom One is a smaller double or very spacious single room. It is on the first floor and looks out onto the courtyard – especially gorgeous when the wisteria is at its best with beautiful lilac blooms.

The colour scheme is soft grey with a hint of pink and crystal lamps highlight this elegant and cosy room. Next door is the Victorian bathroom with it’s a little bit over the top island bath and marble fittings.

Bedroom 1
room two at Bryn Tanat Hall

Room Two

Bedroom Two is a spacious double room on the first floor dominated by the wonderful super king-size bed. There is bay window with a comfy chair to  look out towards the river Tanat and gardens below. The colour scheme is shades of lavender and is traditionally chintzy and is highlighted by the crystal chandelier.

The glorious Victorian bathroom with its roll top bath, separate corner shower and marble fittings is next door and is shared with rooms one and three.

Bedroom 2
room three at Bryn Tanat Hall

Room Three

Bedroom Three is a first floor twin room looking over the terrace towards the river and the Breidden Hills in the distance. Decorated with Cole & Son wallpaper, add antique furniture and a Kevin McCloud chandelier and this room would fit lovingly into anyone’s grand design!

The room shares the luxurious Victorian bathroom with tub, shower and even an antique sofa.

Bedroom 3
room four at Bryn Tanat Hall

Room Four

Bedroom Four is in the oldest part of the house going back to the late 17th century. The ceiling beams echo the age of the house and the bay window gives views that are little changed since the house was built.

This first floor room has an antique king size bed and is decorated in silvery blue tones beautifully complimented by the bronze Kevin McCloud wall lights.

There is a shower cubicle in the room and also a spacious vanity unit. There is a cloakroom a couple of steps away across the landing.

Bedroom 4
room 5 at Bryn Tanat Hall

Room Five

Bedroom Five is without doubt our most unusual room! This second floor room is reached by an open oak staircase and looks out over the courtyard and is set under the eaves.  The handmade bed …..

The shower and toilet are cunningly hidden into the wall space and there is a large vanity unit in the room.

We do suggest that children under 10 are closely supervised because of the open staircase.

Bedroom 5
room six at Bryn Tanat Hall

Room Six

Bedroom Six is on the first floor. It is a room brimming with character, with oak beams and ceiling and now superbly comfortable with a super king-size bed which can also be two full size single beds. The colours are soft sage and deep rose pink highlighted by the beautiful ceiling fitting.

Across the hall, Bedroom Six enjoys its own private bathroom. There is truly deep bath tub and separate power shower.

Bedroom 6
room seven at Bryn Tanat Hall

Room Seven

Bedroom Seven is our master suite. The largest room in the house, it enjoys a huge en-suite bathroom and is invariably chosen by the party organiser! A super king-size bed and antique furniture are highlighted by the decor of softest greens with golden highlights and a stunning crystal chandelier.

The large en suite has a full size tub and separate power shower.

Bedroom 7
room eight at Bryn Tanat Hall

Room Eight

Bedroom Eight is on the first floor in the newest wing of Bryn Tanat Hall and enjoys views of the courtyard. The contemporary modern colour scheme perfectly complements the hand crafted elm furniture made from one of the estate elm trees. There is a five foot double bed with tall crystal lights – just perfect for bed time reading.

The private bathroom for Bedroom Eight is totally modern with shiny chrome fittings enhanced by the warm wood of the vanity unit and soft brown of the fully tiled room.

Bedroom 8
room nine at Bryn Tanat Hall

Room Nine

Bedroom Nine is on the first floor and is possibly the most dramatic of our rooms. The contemporary furniture is hand crafted from the huge elm tree off the estate.  The bed head wall is gorgeously papered in a dramatic Vivienne Westwood tartan paper which looks almost 3d. The paper was chosen to echo the Macpherson tartan which was Susan’s mother’s clan tartan and which has been used as upholstery on the dressing table chair.

Step up from the room into the ultra-modern wet room with a funky free standing basin and masses of showering space.

Add to all that a spectacular view towards the wildlife pond and the Meifod valley you can appreciate why this is one of our most popular rooms.

Bedroom 9
room ten at Bryn Tanat Hall

Room Ten

Bedroom Ten is a most unusual twin room on the first floor with views of both the courtyard and the lime avenue. The shape of the room suggested a novel solution to space and we have created a twin room with end to end beds with a built in dressing table between them. This room is especially popular with children and teenage guests – lots of late night chats head to head in the dark??

The room is en suite with a wonderfully quirky wet room which again has been designed to make the most of a slightly unusual space.

Bedroom 10
room eleven at Bryn Tanat Hall

Room Eleven

Bedroom Eleven is a ground floor twin bedded room which can be changed to accommodate any of our guests who may need a little extra help with their mobility.

The room features a Cole and Son Wallpaper, “Woodland”, where light and shade play amongst the expansive canopy alongside creatures great and small with colours of olive, charcoal and vivid coral.

Next door to the room is a wet room with wide doorway, grab rails and a shower seat and power shower which is shared with bedroom twelve.

Bedroom 11
room twelve at Bryn Tanat Hall

Room Twelve

Bedroom Twelve is the second of our ground floor bedrooms. To reach it guests go past Bedroom Eleven and the wet room and up two steps. There are antique twin beds which can be joined together to make a super king size double and the beds are complemented by dark wooden antique furniture. One window is set into the feature natural stone wall with views over onto the lime avenue and the second window looks over the courtyard. The courtyard view in late spring gives you a wonderful sight of the wisteria in bloom and the blue hand painted wall paper in the room is a reminder during the rest of the year.

This room shares the adapted wet room next to Bedroom Eleven. The wet room has a wide doorway, grab rails and a shower seat and power shower.

Bedroom 12
room thirteen at Bryn Tanat Hall

The Leslie Suite – Cello

Cello is the very spacious double room of the Leslie Suite.  The room looks out onto the courtyard to the right and spectacular views of the Meifod valley and the wildlife pond to the left.  The colour scheme is vibrant purple wallpaper with a musical theme in keeping with the inspiration and history behind the suite, famous composer Henry David Leslie and his family who resided at Bryn Tanat Hall for a number of years from 1857.

The room is furnished with a large mirrored wardrobe and finished with soft velvet cushions and pewter lamps.

The shared tiled bathroom is very modern with a shower and floor standing stone resin sink by Italian designers Antonio Lupi.

Oboe room at Bryn Tanat Hall

The Leslie Suite – Oboe

Oboe is the twin room of the Leslie suite.  The room overlooks the courtyard and is decorated with vibrant yellow and greys.

The charming Nottambule Cole & Son wallpaper featuring a family of wide-eyed owls being a talking point of the room.

The shared tiled bathroom is very modern with a shower and floor standing stone resin sink by Italian designers Antonio Lupi.
