Spa Beauty Therapist Apprenticeships
Bryn Tanat Wellness Spa are delighted to announce that we now offer a three-year Spa Apprenticeship Programme.
As a Spa Apprentice , you will assist the Spa team members and learn a range of new skills and techniques, including the daily running of our luxurious Wellness Spa.
You will learn how to provide the perfect massage, improve facial skin conditions, shape and colour brows and lashes, waxing and make-up application. You will also get the chance to gain some masterclass insights from our visiting spa partner professionals and product houses, such as Aromatherapy Associates, Elim, CACI, and Delilah Cosmetics
Qualifications
On successful completion of the course, you will receive the internationally recognised VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy, qualification followed by the VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Beauty Therapy. These qualifications are NVQ equivalent and are recognised internationally in the spa industry. All training is carried out on site at Bryn Tanat Wellness Spa, in partnership with Coleg Cambria, Wrexham.
Eligibility
In order to be eligible to complete a Spa Therapist Apprenticeship at Bryn Tanat Wellness Spa, candidates must:
- Be aged 16 or over
- Not be in full time education
- Have the right to live and work in the UK
- Be able to travel to and from Bryn Tanat Wellness Spa on a daily basis
Please note candidates do not need to have any prior experience or training as this is an entry-level apprenticeship.
Salary & Benefits
SALARY
Whilst the minimum wage for an Apprentice is £5.28 per hour, we will pay the successful candidate an above average wage of £7.50 per hour – rising upon completion of level 2 and level 3.
HOURS OF WORK
A minimum contract of 16 hours per week, to include weekends with additional hours available.
All theory and coursework is to be completed outside of these hours. Apprentice will be assessed in practical treatments on site and exams will be taken at Coleg Cambria in Wrexham.
