Your Spa Day Guide

Everything you need to know before your spa day, from arriving at your cabin to making the most of your time in the Spa Suite. We want your day with us to feel as easy and relaxing as possible, so here are a few things to know before you arrive.

Ahead of your arrival, you’ll receive a reminder of your booked Spa access and treatment times. These are arranged in advance around your booking and our treatment schedule, so please take a moment to check your timings before the day.

We provide robes and towels for your stay, so there’s no need to pack these. Swimwear is required for your Spa Suite session and when using the hot tub, and we recommend bringing flip flops, sliders or slippers for walking between your cabin and the Spa. We don’t provide these as part of our sustainability commitment.

When you arrive, please head straight to your cabin. It will already be unlocked and ready for you, so there’s no need to check in at the Spa. You can simply arrive, settle in and start your day.

As you come through the main entrance, the barrier will automatically rise. Continue along the road towards the tennis courts, then follow the road as it bears to the right. Your cabin will be positioned facing the wildlife pond, with a dedicated parking space for your stay.

Once you’ve settled in, your cabin becomes your own private space for the day. When it’s time for your Spa access or treatment, it’s just a short walk through the woodland.

From your cabin, walk past the tennis court and follow the path alongside the car park and tall hedge. Continue along the path and you’ll see the Spa decking on your left. Enter through the decking and take the first door on your right to reach the Wellness Spa.

Your booking party will have exclusive use of the Spa Suite during your allocated session. The suite includes an infrared sauna with red light therapy, rain drench showers and a hydrotherapy tub designed for deep relaxation and recovery. A small changing area is also available within the Spa.

Your treatments take place within the same space. Each guest will enjoy one treatment, with treatment times sometimes staggered depending on availability. As we have one treatment room, treatments cannot take place simultaneously for multiple guests.

There isn’t a separate relaxation lounge within the Spa, so if you have time between your Spa access and treatment, your cabin is your own private space to relax and unwind.

Any food included with your Spa Day will be delivered directly to your cabin for you to enjoy at your own pace. Your cabin has a fridge and facilities for making tea and coffee, with tea, coffee and milk provided. You’re also welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks to enjoy throughout the day.

Complimentary tea, coffee and milk are available for you to enjoy during your visit to the spa. We also have a water cooler within the Spa Suite, so you can help yourself to fresh drinking water throughout your session and stay hydrated while using the Spa facilities.

If you fancy something a little extra, we also have a selection of juices and chilled canned drinks available to purchase from our Spa reception.

For the comfort and cleanliness of the Spa environment, food and personal drinks are not permitted within the Spa Suite, Wellness Spa, courtyard or surrounding Spa areas.

Pregnancy

For the safety and wellbeing of you and your baby, some of our Spa facilities and treatments are not recommended during pregnancy.

In particular, use of the infrared sauna and hydrotherapy tub is not recommended. If you are pregnant and wish to use the Spa Suite, we strongly recommend speaking with your midwife or healthcare professional beforehand to make sure the facilities are suitable for you. Any use during pregnancy is undertaken at your own discretion and risk.

Some treatments may also need to be adapted or avoided during pregnancy. Please let us know when booking if you are pregnant so our team can advise you on the treatments available and make sure your experience is comfortable and appropriate for you.

General Health

If you have a medical condition, recent surgery or injury, heart or circulatory condition, high or low blood pressure, or any other health concern that could be affected by heat, hydrotherapy or massage, please speak to your doctor or healthcare professional before your visit.

Please let us know about any relevant health concerns before your treatment so our therapists can ensure your experience is as safe and comfortable as possible. If you are unsure whether a treatment or Spa facility is suitable for you, please contact us before your visit and we’ll be happy to advise where we can.

When using the Spa Suite, listen to your body and take regular breaks. Please leave the sauna or hydrotherapy tub if you feel dizzy, light-headed, unwell or uncomfortable, and make sure you stay well hydrated throughout your visit.

Guests use the Spa facilities at their own risk and are asked to follow all safety guidance and instructions provided by our Wellness Spa team.

Our Spa is a place to slow down, switch off and enjoy some time for yourself. We ask that all guests help us maintain a peaceful and respectful environment.

Please keep mobile phones on silent and refrain from making or receiving calls within the Wellness Spa. Personal speakers and music from mobile devices aren’t permitted, and we ask that conversations are kept to a considerate level.

Photography and filming are not permitted within the Spa Suite changing areas to protect the privacy of all guests.

Please shower before using the hydrotherapy tub and wear appropriate swimwear throughout your Spa Suite session. Smoking, vaping and electronic cigarettes are not permitted in any indoor or outdoor Spa areas.

Children, infants and babies are not permitted within the Wellness Spa or surrounding areas, and only guests named on the Spa Suite booking may use the facilities.

Alcohol and recreational drugs must not be consumed before or during your Spa experience. Guests who appear to be under the influence may be refused entry or asked to leave without refund.

Guests must follow all instructions provided by the Wellness Spa team. We reserve the right to end a Spa Suite session without refund if behaviour is inappropriate, disruptive or causes disturbance to others. Any damage to the facilities, furnishings or equipment may be charged to the lead booking guest.
